[Happy Science Group Wins Final and Binding Victory] The ruling on the damages lawsuit against Hiroshi has been finalized

Due to a series of slanderous remarks by Hiroshi Okawa on YouTube and in magazines, the release of the DVD of the movie Daybreak, in which Hiroshi appeared, was discontinued. Also, Hiroshi transferred music equipment, owned by the Happy Science Group, without authorization. Given this situation, New Star Production Co., Ltd. filed a lawsuit seeking damages (filed on September 10, 2019). On October 29, 2024, the Supreme Court's decision finalized the ruling, ordering Hiroshi, the defendant, to pay 170,000 yen in damages to New Star Production Co., Ltd. (Victory for the Happy Science Group).
